cancellation & missed appointment policy

At Emily Haddow Artistry, we’re dedicated to providing exceptional service and care to every client. When you book an appointment, that time is reserved exclusively for you. We understand that life happens — however, last-minute cancellations, late arrivals, and missed appointments affect both our schedule and other clients waiting for availability.

We ask that you please respect our time and commit to keeping your appointments as scheduled, or provide adequate notice if adjustments are needed.

appointment booking

A signed service agreement and retainer payment are required to secure your booking. Appointments are not confirmed until both are received.

cancellations

Your time and well-being are very important to us. We understand that unexpected circumstances can arise that may require rescheduling or cancellation. We respectfully ask for at least 14 days’ notice if you need to make any changes to your appointment.

Cancellations or reschedules made with less than 14 days’ notice will result in the total service balance becoming due immediately.

We always strive to be understanding and flexible in cases of emergencies or health-related issues — please contact us directly to discuss your situation.

Please note: leaving a voicemail or text message does not guarantee that your cancellation request has been received. Please confirm directly with a team member whenever possible.

missed/no-show appointments

If you miss your appointment without providing at least 14 days’ notice, it will be considered a no-show, and the full service balance will be charged to the payment method on file.

late arrivals

Appointments are carefully scheduled to allow enough time for your specific service. If you arrive late, it may limit the time available or require rescheduling to ensure the service can be performed safely and without rushing.

Clients arriving 15 minutes or more past their appointment time may be marked as a no-show, as there may not be enough time to complete the service properly. Any retainer or payment for a no-show appointment is non-refundable.
